About

The whole team at the Scottish Farmer is getting together to hike up Ben Lomond on Friday, August 27, as part of the Great Glen Challenge.

After 18 months apart, we can't wait!

Spurred on by the promise of a fabulous picnic, courtesy of the boss, but most importantly, raising money for a charity close to all of our hearts, RSABI.

Those who know our team would understand that trying to get us all together on one day, let alone up a Munro, is a feat in itself.

Please also wish our colleagues David Boyle and Darren Bruce, good luck, as they endeavour to cycle an impressive 100km on the day - with well deserved pints promised at the finish line.

Fundraising for RSABI

RSABI is a fantastic charity which beats right at the heart of Scottish agriculture, providing emotional, practical and financial support to those in need.

With one farmer being lost to suicide in the UK every week, the valuable support offered by RSABI to individuals and their families cannot be overstated.

We would like to thank RSABI for everything they do to support the amazing individuals and their families who dedicate their lives to the land, putting food on our tables and conserving our beautiful countryside.

We will continue to support the charity in every way we can by using our magazine as a platform to raise awareness of their valuable work and the concerns around mental health in farming.

Please donate to the Scottish Farmer team today and cheer us on from afar on the 27th.

Good luck to all the individuals and teams out there!
